A spectacle of sound, light, and interactivity, Darling Harbour is home to some of Vivid Sydney’s most impressive visual feasts alongside Vivid Music’s irresistible free Tumbalong Nights program.
Each night of Vivid Sydney, the skies above Cockle Bay alight with Laser Lightfall, our inagurgal laser show and a truly show-stopping spectacle. Plus, the beloved Vivid Sydney Drone Show returns for the first time since 2024 as Star-Bound: 22 mind-blowing shows across 11 nights.
Vivid Music’s popular Tumbalong Nights is back with free nightly shows spanning cultures and genres, with a line-up including soulful singer-songwriter Matt Corby, K-Pop star SHAUN, Nigerian Afrobeat mainstay Seun Kuti & Egypt 80 and alt-pop queen Mallrat. Hungry for more? Vivid Food is also setting up at Tumbalong Park, offering a pit-stop for quick snacks and meals. And families can get in the groove too, with live children’s music each Saturday afternoon.
Families can also adventure together with Wonderverse, a ticketed interactive journey through a universe of light and learning at the Australian National Maritime Museum (ANMM).
Other highlights include Piano Walk, an S-shaped supersized set of ivories that sings out in song and colour as you step across; Afterimage: A Projection Mapped Mural, where street artist Sofles’s mural is brought to life each night with a 3D projection; and Mythical Mashup: The Graphic Worlds of Brian Robinson, two major artworks at the ANMM pulling from the acclaimed Torres Strait artist’s fascinating blend of Indigenous culture, fantasy and pop-culture.
