NOTE: Due to injuries, Mulga Bore Hard Rock has had to cancel their national tour, including their scheduled Tumbalong Nights appearance with Gut Health. Stepping in are South Australian alt-rock band Swapmeet.
Fronted by frenzied singer Athina Uh Oh, sextet Gut Health cut their teeth in Melbourne's packed pubs, demanding attention with a blistering mix of noise rock, jazz solos and danceable, disco-lite rhythms - all presented with a delightfully chaotic punk edge. Frenzied yet controlled, their acclaimed debut album Stiletto saw them tour the globe; now, they bring their high-octane energy to Tumbalong Nights.
They’ll be joined by Swapmeet, South Australia’s fast-rising four-piece fusing the fuzzy guitars and cathartic, crashing drums of ‘90s alt-rock with a contemporary feel and tongue-in-cheek lyrics. Performing on the precipice of upcoming debut album Mount Zero (released via tastemaker US label Winspear), Swapmeet are poised to show off just why they're one of 2026's most-hyped acts.
Free for all to enjoy, Tumbalong Nights ignites Darling Quarter's Tumbalong Park with 23 nights of music during Vivid Sydney, with a cross-cultural lineup of live music from international legends, Australian icons, emerging stars, plus DJs.
