Kae Tempest

A vital voice in contemporary music and literature, English rapper and poet Kae Tempest will return to Sydney this June for two special nights.

The shows follow the release of his extraordinary fifth album Self Titled - a bold, intimate and expansive body of work that stands as a love letter to a younger self, London and the trans community.

Both joyous and wrestling with pain, Self Titled swings between '80s synth-pop, surging trance and hard-hitting hip-hop, in a grab-bag of genres united by Tempest's urgent, poetic and fearless lyricism.
