A vital voice in contemporary music and literature, English rapper and poet Kae Tempest will return to Sydney this June for a special night.
The show follows the release of his extraordinary fifth album Self Titled - a bold, intimate and expansive body of work that stands as a love letter to a younger self, London and the trans community.
Both joyous and wrestling with pain, Self Titled swings between '80s synth-pop, surging trance and hard-hitting hip-hop, in a grab-bag of genres united by Tempest's urgent, poetic and fearless lyricism.
A powerful presence live, Tempest returns to Australia off the back of his most acclaimed album yet for shows that celebrate vulnerability, defiance and defining yourself.
