Event Details

Enter the Lumiverse, an otherworldly enclave of towering electronic ‘trees’created with sixteen LED columns. Standing at a whopping 4.8 meters (more than 15 feet!), each glows and hums with the vibrant sounds and colours of a strange, enticing forest.

Can you hear that? Listen close and wander between the trees as the forest shifts around you. A mixture of birdsong, bristling leaves and other ambient forest sounds reverberate from each column, alongside experimental electronica and in-sync visuals.

Created by celebrated LA art and design studio Liquid PXL, Lumiverse Transporter shows how the simplest shapes – even single straight lines – can inspire delight, curiosity and joy. They’re bringing more than the forest to Vivid Sydney, too. Follow the Vivid Light Walk towards Barangaroo to find two equally transportive Liquid PXL works, River of Fire and Electric Dandelions.
