Gaining traction with standout live performances at SXSW Sydney and for triple j's Bars of Steel, BOY SODA has been one of Australian R&B's most hyped acts for years. With debut album SOULSTAR (2025), he delivers on the promise, with an impressive, richly realised display of musicality. Pulling from neo-soul, jazz, funk and '00s R&B, BOY SODA (real name Brae Luafalealo) matches his silky vocals with strings, horns and steel guitar. Heart-felt and tackling romance, self-love, complex family relationships and his Samoan heritage, SOULSTAR is a powerful listen, and even more powerful live. 

At just 18, Sydney act That Gurl Bella masterfully weaves together R&B, hip-hop and pop. Emerging as a triple J Unearthed High finalist, That Gurl Bella's recent tracks 'PETER PAN', 'LOVE DRUGS' and 'PRAY' match her gorgeous vocals with all-in choruses and skittering electronic beats.
