An all-out collision of lasers, experimental projection, narrative and sound, TIME:WARPED is a twisting seven-minute ride through time itself. No TARDIS needed.

Centering on time’s central truth – that we all share its gift, and it’s up to us to decide how to use it – TIME:WARPED’s story begins with a human heartbeat and a single laser. Evolving into a throbbing electronic score and intricate geological patterns such as phyllotaxis (the arrangement of a plant’s leaves), time pushes forward into human-made cathedrals and architectural wonders.

Relentless, TIME:WARPED flies beyond the current day, as cutting-edge lasers create new shapes and tapestries. What better place to explore time than Argyle Cut? Carved through sandstone in the mid-19th century, its curved ceiling’s layers of sediment are lines of time, formed over hundreds of thousands of years.

Exploring time as a creator, currency and connector between us all, TIME:WARPED is a thought-provoking spectacle that asks, “What will you do with your time?".

This activation contains bright lights, lasers, colour changes and occasional flashing effects. These may be triggering for individuals with photosensitive epilepsy, sensory sensitivities, or conditions affected by intense visual stimuli.

If you are sensitive to these effects, please use caution when approaching the area and step back if you feel uncomfortable.
