Harbour Cruise Fireworks

Adding extra spark to Vivid Sydney’s night skies, the Harbour Cruise Fireworks return in 2026 – an eruption of colour from the Harbour’s seas, presented by the Australian Commercial Marine Group and best viewed from a cruise.

Sparkling and spectacular, the Harbour Cruise Fireworks alight the sky six times during Vivid Sydney, each Thursday and Friday from 28 May to 12 June at a family-friendly time of approximately 8pm*.

Positioned between Fort Denison and Athol Bay, the displays offer a truly unique perspective when enjoyed from the water. Perfect for a family night out or special occasion, an on-water Harbour Cruise Fireworks experience is an unforgettable way to experience Vivid Sydney’s glow up. 

From the water, soak in the majestic scale of Sydney transformed by light, colour and art as you float past iconic landmarks and installations, before capping it off with a front-row spot to a shimmering fireworks show.
