While chefs bring the heat to Vivid Fire Kitchen, NSW Winemakers pair up top drops and expertise, with a series of engaging talks, tastings and events — alongside a Harbour Bar pouring more than 34 NSW wines by the glass.
Each Thursday, winemakers such as Vinden Wines, Meredith Wines and Ravensworth Wines take to the Food For Thought Stage for talks and tastings. Hosts include wine judge Banjo Harris Plane (11 June), critic Peter Bourne (28 May) and, in a night focused on women in wine (4 June), Amelia Birch of Famelia, a wine bar in Newtown highlighting female winemakers.
Plus, leading Sommeliers go head-to-head on Monday 25 May and 1 June for Battle of the Somms, pairing Fire Kitchen dishes with wines in a friendly, fun competition.
Celebrating NSW wine’s diverse regions, the Harbour Bar’s curated list spans wines from Hunter Valley to Tumbarumba, Mudgee to Murrumbateman, Orange to Gundagai — and everywhere in between. Each glass has its own character, flavour and story, waiting to be discovered.
