Vivid Fire Kitchen

In its new home at Barangaroo Reserve, Vivid Fire Kitchen unites Australian culinary talent in an ode to the great Aussie backyard, complete with open-fire cooking demonstrations, talks, tastings and more. 

Open every night of Vivid Sydney from 6-11pm and free-to-enter, this vibrant casual dining hub builds community and connection, with authentic flavours and shared stories that span diverse cultures and cuisines. 

Plus, catch culinary heavyweights such as chefs Mark Best, Annita Potter (viand) and Ben Devlin (Pipit) at The Fire Pit. Through collaborative and casual fire-cooking demonstrations, The Fire Pit offers expertise and plenty of backyard banter between chefs, and chances to purchase that night’s signature dishes. 

Over at the new Food for Thoughts stage, expect fascinating talks and informal chats with a wide range of Australian food figures, such as restaurateur Luke Mangan OAM, Sunday Kitchen founder Karina Hazim and personality Arrnott Olssen. Plus, plenty more authors, celebrity cooks, institutional names, social media favourites and industry innovators.

Live music will keep the energy high, while a range of pop-up special events, including NSW wine tastings, will have you coming back night after night.
