Performing for the very first time at the Sydney Opera House, American singer-songwriter Mitski returns to Australia after seven years, bringing her beloved, emotionally searing songs – and her highly anticipated new album Nothing’s About to Happen to Me – to four huge nights at Vivid LIVE.

Renowned for her transformative stage presence, the Japanese-born Mitski first drew attention with her third album, 2014’s raw Bury Me At Makeout Creek, before rising to global acclaim with 2016’s Puberty 2, featuring indie-rock classics “Your Best American Girl” and “I Bet On Losing Dogs”. 2018’s critically adored Be the Cowboy saw Mitski incorporate synths on art-pop hits “Nobody” and “Washing Machine Heart”, while Laurel Hell (2022), led by “Working for the Knife”, became her first US top 10.

In 2023, Mitski returned with The Land Is Inhospitable And So Are We, featuring the global hit “My Love Mine All Mine”, now nearing two billion streams. Reuniting key collaborators, Nothing’s About to Happen to Me - preceded by the raucous “Where’s My Phone?” - marks a thrilling new chapter for one of music’s most incandescent stars.
