Optimism abounds with Circles of Rhythm, as it reflects upon the legacy of the Bauhaus, the early 20th century art movement focused on creating refined beauty through a paired back aesthetic of elemental form and colour.

While the Bauhaus is held in reverence, in particular the work of the women of the Bauhaus, the light projection draws upon a broader design philosophy where form emerges from essential relationships of balance, proportion, colour and movement. Through shifting compositions, the projection transforms the building into a living study of geometry, perception and design-led optimism. As the sequence unfolds, structure gradually dissolves into a more open, formless state: a field of light where the possibility of new form remains suspended, waiting to emerge.

Showcasing how transfixing simple shapes can be when reconsidered, Circles of Rhythm is a celebration of artistic imagination – and an invitation to show how innovation and new futures can be created from what we already have.
