A dedicated viewing experience

Vivid Sydney offers a dedicated accessible viewing area for the drone shows.

The accessible viewing area is designed to support visitors who may benefit from reduced crowd density, clearer viewing positions, and proximity to event support staff, while enjoying the full visual impact of the drone show.

When: Sunday - Wednesday

Arrival Times
6.30pm arrival for 7.30pm drone show, departure by 8.30pm
8.45pm arrival for 9.30pm drone show, departure by 10.30pm

Where: Cockle Bay, near Iron Wharf Place.

Capacity is strictly limited and bookings are required in advance. Spaces are allocated per session, with limits on group size and accompanying carers.

By proceeding with a booking request, visitors acknowledge that they have read and agree to the Terms & Conditions for special accessible viewing area bookings. All personal information collected as part of the booking process is handled in accordance with the Vivid Sydney Privacy Policy and is used solely for the purpose of managing bookings, access arrangements and event communications.

Terms & Conditions

  1. Submitting a booking request for a special accessible viewing area does not automatically confirm a reservation.
  2. Accessible viewing area capacity is strictly limited. Bookings are subject to availability and demand and may be limited to one booking per person/family.
  3. If capacity is reached, your request may be placed on a standby list and you may be contacted if a space becomes available.
  4. Bookings are valid only for the individual(s), date, time and location specified in the confirmation provided by Vivid Sydney.
  5. Confirmed bookings are non-transferable and cannot be shared, resold or reassigned to another person or group.
  6. Entry to the accessible viewing area is subject to verification by Vivid Sydney guest services, including confirmation details and identification if required.
  7. Groups must arrive within the allocated arrival window. Late arrival may result in forfeiture of the booking to accommodate standby guests.
  8. Capacity limits apply to both access guests and accompanying carers. Bookings are limited to one (1) carer per access guest, with a maximum total group size of six (6) people, including carers. Group composition will be confirmed as part of the booking confirmation provided by Vivid Sydney.
  9. Viewing areas are designed to support access needs; however, seating, sightlines and sensory conditions may vary depending on location, crowd movement and operational requirements.
  10. Vivid Sydney guest services are unable to provide physical assistance (including lifting, transferring or mobility support) and attendees must attend with appropriate support if required.
  11. Conditions within the viewing area, including access routes and layouts, may change due to safety, weather, crowd management or operational requirements, including directions from Police and emergency services.
  12. Failure to comply with staff instructions, safety requirements or event conditions may result in removal from the viewing area.
  13. Vivid Sydney reserves the right to modify or cancel bookings in exceptional circumstances, including safety risks or event disruption.
