Feel the Beat
An all-abilities music experience
Feel the Beat is an inclusive, all-abilities music experience designed for visitors who are Deaf or hard of hearing, or who prefer to experience music through vibration, movement and sound. Using specialised technology, participants can feel the rhythm and energy of live music in a tactile and immersive way.
The experience takes place in a dedicated accessible viewing area, providing a supportive environment to enjoy live performances as part of the Vivid Sydney program.
Capacity is limited and bookings are required in advance. Group bookings are subject to availability and include limits on total group size and carers.
When: Saturdays during the Festival
Time: From 5pm - 9pm
Where: Tumbalong Park, Darling Harbour
Bookings are for 15-minute sessions. If you would like to experience Feel the Beat for 30 minutes, please book two consecutive 15-minute time slots, subject to availability.
If demand is low and the area is not busy, visitors may also have the opportunity to rejoin the queue and participate again, subject to availability on the day.
