Featuring

Acopia

Acopia

Acopia is a Melbourne band comprised of Kate Durman, Lachlan McGeehan, and Morgan Wright. Working with restraint and atmosphere, their music unfolds slowly and deliberately, guided by instinct and emotion, across albums Chances (2022), Acopia (2023) and Blush Response (2025).

Since emerging in 2018, they’ve headlined shows across the UK, Europe, and Australia, and shared the stage with artists such as Bar Italia, Tirzah, and Raisa K.

Kidskin

Kidskin

Kidskin is the electronic music project of Sydney multidisciplinary artist Rahnee Bliss. Consisting of synth dance beats, feverish feminine vocals and thumping big-bellied bass, Kidskin is rapidly gaining a dedicated following for her conceptual visual and sonic output, as audiences await a debut EP.

NEW YORK

NEW YORK

NEW YORK is a girl-pop music and performance project by artists Gretchen Lawrence and Coumba Samba. The sampling of royalty free loops and sounds of clicks and cuts are met with chopped vocals and impulsive lyrics, as heard on 2022 debut No Sleep Till N.Y.

Nikodimos

The Nikodimos Orchestra

The Nikodimos Orchestra explore unorthodox approaches to orchestral music, led by Nikodimos Paleologoudias, a multi-instrumentalist, producer, composer and songwriter from Melbourne. He creates a custom score for each performance, alongside improvisation from his accomplished ensemble.

Mastané

Mastané

Formed by Asad Khan and Raaginder, Mastané is the meeting of two worlds – meditative and electric. Weaving Indian classical instrumentation with cinematic bass, haunting Punjabi folk melodies, and immersive visual storytelling, they create energetic, exciting electronica that’s been streamed millions of times worldwide.

Mei Semones

Mei Semones

Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Mei Semones infuses indie rock, bossa nova, jazz and chamber pop on her debut album Animaru. Recorded with a five-piece band, Animaru is a technically ambitious album that also sees Semones sing in both Japanese and English.

RONA.

RONA.

RONA. is a Kaytetye producer and DJ whose sound is deeply grounded in the vast desert landscapes of her home, Mparntwe in central Australia.

Blending the rhythms and landscapes of desert Country with the pulse of club culture, she crafts immersive sonic experiences, and has left her mark on audiences at Laneway, Pitch Music & Arts, RISING, and most recently Meredith Music Festival.

WD

Way Dynamic

Way Dynamic, the solo project of Melbourne’s Dylan Young, released Massive Shoe in 2025 – a third album that’s playful and understated, luminous and textured. Massive Shoe is minimalist folk-pop, art rock and baroque pop, produced and largely played by Young, who moonlights in Melbourne’s beloved Cool Sounds and Good Morning and has played drums with Snowy Band and Kankawa Nagarra.

Fusing traditional Punjabi instrumentation and folk music with cinematic bass, Canadian electronic duo Mastané bring a meditative groove to Last Light

Brooklyn singer-songwriter Mei Semones will transform the Power Station with her sunny blend of jazz, bossa nova and math rock, singing in both Japanese and English as on her debut album Animaru.

Indigenous futurism shapes the sounds of Kaytetye producer and DJ RONA., who blends club beats with the textures of Country, evoking the desert landscapes of her home Mparntwe/Alice Springs.

Melbourne trio Acopia offer plenty of dream-pop yearning and post-punk introspection across their third album Blush Response, with ethereal vocals, hazy instrumentation and synths that warble out as if in search of something.

American performance art-pop duo NEW YORK is electric and eclectic in equal measure, chopping up royalty-free music into original, twinkling electronica with evocative, playful lyrics.

Luminous, textured and wholly unique, Melbourne artist Way Dynamic (aka Dylan Young) combines ‘70s soft rock with bossa, Baroque pop and minimalist folk sounds. His latest album Massive Shoe earned high praise from Waxahatchee, MJ Lenderman and Elton John alike.

High-concept, ethereal and playful, Kidskin is the electronic project of Sydney artist Rahnee Bliss, pairing otherworldly visuals and an all-in performance with synths beats, heavy bass and trance euphoria.

Led by Melbourne multi-instrumentalist Nikodimos Paleologoudias, The Nikodimos Orchestra is a fun, free-flowing affair. Incorporating traditional Greek instrumentation alongside strings, brass, woodwind and more, the accomplished ensemble improvise over a score, creating something unique every time.

Vivid Sydney also presents New York ambient techno trio Purelink on Friday 29 May, and French-Senegalese singer-songwriter anaiis on Friday 5 June.
