As part of their 15th anniversary celebrations, Sydney tastemakers Astral People return to Vivid LIVE to curate an all-new Studio Party, bringing along a pair of very special guests – world-renowned producer TOKiMONSTA and South London DJ ONEMAN.
Festival favourites Astral People have become one of Australia’s most innovative international touring and events companies since forming in 2011, alongside running a forward-thinking label and artist management roster. Their global touring history has seen them bring artists such as Fred again.., Snoh Aalegra, Yussef Dayes, The Streets, 100 gecs, Grace Jones, Stormzy, Oklou, De La Soul and Jamie xx to Australian audiences, while also helping bolster the careers of management clients including Moktar, Sam Alfred, Cosmo’s Midnight, FUKHED and many more.
Heading up this year’s Studio Party is the extraordinary Jennifer Lee – aka TOKiMONSTA – the groundbreaking LA-based DJ, producer and label head who has spent more than a decade dazzling dancefloors with everything from left-field beats to euphoric techno anthems. As one of the architects of the L.A. Beat Scene in the 2010s, she has had a pioneering influence on the sound of the past 15 years, collaborating with artists including Ryuichi Sakamoto and Anderson .Paak and remixing tracks for the likes of Beck, Lil Uzi Vert, Jessie Ware and David Bowie, among countless others. She became the first Asian American producer to be nominated for a Grammy Award with her 2017 album Lune Rouge, while her latest, 2025’s Eternal Reverie, drew critical acclaim for its sleek, dreamy beats.
One of the most impeccable mixers in the game, Streatham’s own DJ ONEMAN made a name for himself on beloved London pirate radio station Rinse FM, and has played scintillating sets at Fabric, Boiler Room and major festivals around the world, including a memorable performance at Splendour In The Grass back in 2017. His typically witty, visceral sets blend dubstep, hip-hop, grime and UK garage. This is his first Australian live set in almost a decade.
