Event Details

A building that looks back at you. The otherwise faceless silhouette of our city is given a human touch with this playful, interactive art installation. See your eyes projected, large scale onto a towering building in the distance.

Step up to our Omnivisu view finder in Tumbalong park, where two cameras film your eyes before projecting them onto a distant building. Gaze up as you peer at your own eyes surveying the Vivid Sydney action from on high.

This unexpected image of your eyes at scale evokes the omnipresent surveillance of Big Brother and the scrutinising gaze from The Great Gatsby. Step up and let your eyes become the literal windows to our city’s soul.
