Vivid Sydney Collaborators Mandylights

Mandylights is Australia’s leading entertainment design firm and has worked in over sixty countries on concert, light art, corporate, broadcast and special event projects. The team of designers, technicians and administrators work across offices in the United Kingdom and Australia, and have created outstanding visual designs on the Auckland Harbour Bridge; world tours for Ricky Martin, 5 Seconds of Summer and The Backstreet Boys; light artworks for London’s Christmas at Kew Gardens; the 15th anniversary of Ultra Music Festival in Miami; Dubai New Year’s Eve on the Burj Khalifa; and auto show stands at exhibitions from Delhi to Detroit.
Closer to home, Mandylights’ work has been seen at Alice Springs’ Parrtjima festival with AGB Events; with the Pnau and Drummer Queens national tours; the Mardi Gras Parade and Party events; 10 years of Floriade NightFest in Canberra; the Moama Lights project in Echuca Moama; and the City of Melbourne's Federation Square Christmas tree.
Mandylights has been proud to play a part in Vivid Sydney since 2011, where it has created some of the festival’s most memorable light artworks, including 2016’s The Cathedral of Light in the Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney. Mandylights has also illuminated Taronga Zoo and the Barangaroo Precinct for The Liminal Hour and Winter Camp in previous years of Vivid Sydney.
