Foodbank NSW & ACT is proud to be the official charity partner of Vivid Sydney 2026, taking our promise to go where hunger is to Australia’s largest event.
Through an interactive digital truck‑packing puzzle experience at Tumbalong Park, Foodbank NSW & ACT will shine a light on the scale and urgency of food relief, and show Vivid Sydney visitors the critical role we play in keeping communities fed across NSW and the ACT as the state and territory's largest food relief organisation.
Visitors are invited to pack and stack digital grocery items via a screen on the side of a Foodbank truck while racing against the clock, just as we do every day.
The experience is fun and playful, but it carries a clear message: It takes a huge, coordinated effort to go where hunger is, and real impact only happens at scale.
As the cost-of-living continues to rise and demand for food relief sadly increases, Foodbank NSW & ACT is committed to working tirelessly to support those facing hardship in our communities, no matter who they are, where they live, or what they need.
Every dollar donated allows us to provide two meals to someone in need. We urge our communities to stand with us to help keep our trucks on the road, so that together, we can go where hunger is.
