Transdev Sydney Ferries, formerly Harbour City Ferries, is a subsidiary of Transdev Australia & New Zealand and has proudly operated Sydney’s iconic fleet of ferries and the Balmain Shipyard since 2012 under a unique partnership with the NSW Government. Transdev Australia & New Zealand operates four modes of transport across Australia and New Zealand which include buses and light rail in Sydney.
Transdev Sydney Ferries (TDSF) employs more than 600 team members. TDSF moves 15.5 million customers each year around the Sydney Harbour and its related waterways.
There are 39 vessels in the fleet including: the three Freshwater Class vessels that service the Manly route; the nine First Fleet vessels; six Emerald Class vessels; one MiniCat; ten RiverClass vessels; three Emerald Gen 2 vessels and seven Parramatta River Class vessels.
