Recently renovated and reimagined The Dolphin Hotel is the crown jewel of Surry Hills. This award-winning pub spans three levels and is run by the dream team of restaurateur Maurice Terzini and executive-chef Monty Koludrovic (both from Icebergs Dining Room and Bar in Bondi Beach) who have rolled out three distinct menus across the venue: an Aussie pub menu in the Public Bar; Modern Italo fare in the Dining Room; and an Aperitivo style offering in the Wine Room, that compliment James Hird’s extensive, award-winning wine list.

Delfino Aperitivo Happy Hour has been at the heart of the Wine Room since the hotel reopened just over a year ago. In its simplest form, the concept is well-priced drinks and delicious plates of super value; $5 to $7 snacks from 5 to 7pm Sunday to Thursday. 

For Vivid Sydney 2018, we're taking our food and wine sensibilities up a notch by adding a program of some of Australia's best DJs.  Running over three, five-night-long residencies, Melbourne's Noise In My Head and Andras will join forces for one week, Sydney queer icons Stereogamous will take on another residency, and Adi Toohey and Kali, two women currently ruling Sydney in their own ways, will play side-by-side. Expect a sensory overload.

Renowned Sydney DJs Adi Toohey and Kali will play song for song, drawing on their wide knowledge of down-tempo Balearic sounds; from stunning electronica through to obscure disco.

Delfino Aperitivo w/ Stereogamous
Gayer than the Village People Stereogamous are Paul Mac and Jonny Seymour and they make music and parties; this time they’ll be drawing on their less Mardi Gras side for softer, delicate sounds.

Delfino Aperitivo w/ Andras + Noise In My Head
Andras and Noise In My Head are walking music libraries. These Melbourne gents are two of the most sought after taster makers of everything that is weird and wonderful.
