This year, Vivid Sydney presents a FREE series of diverse, contemporary live music on the Grand Concourse of Central Station. These exciting acts amp up the festival fun whether you’re on your way to or heading home from your Light Walk adventure.

Saturday 28 May
The Vivid Sydney Brass Band plays undeniably danceable, irrepressibly fun, NoLa Second Line R&B and soul. Think Louis Armstrong meets The Dirty Dozen with nods to Dr John, Stevie Wonder, Professor Longhair and all that gooey funk that lies in between.

Saturday 4 June
Bluegrass darlings The Morrisons tell Australian stories steeped in the sound of folk and old-time music. This seven-piece band of peerless pickers seize the spirit of the American South’s most enduring musical traditions and make it entirely their own.

Saturday 11 June
Lolo Lovina serves up an intoxicating brew of Balkan mayhem! Expect traditional Gypsy tunes alternating with Lolo originals, and arrangements that are solid, tight, classy and brassy. Dance first, ask questions later!

Saturday 18 June
Cope St Parade does love songs like no others can. Expect spicy rhythms with unique song writing across jazz, folk, pop, gypsy and swing.
