Venue 505 is now known around the world as one of Sydney’s leading live music venues, showcasing the best local and national artists, alongside some of the world’s best touring artists including Christian McBride, Dontae Winslow (Justin Timberlake), Charlie Watts (The Rolling Stones), Gary Bartz, Eric Harland to name a few.
For twelve years the venue has continued to program a mix of innovative, original live music alongside traditional forms and roots music from American funk and soul to African dance and a wide range of Latin music. Providing a home for Sydney’s leading contemporary musicians as well as our traditional and roots music masters under the program direction of renowned bassist/composer Cameron Undy.
505 presents ‘roots’ music for the boogie-down type, the concert goer and the casual music lover. ‘Legends 2107’ Time Out Sydney Bar Awards.
