Hot on the heels of her warmly embraced forecourt performances supporting Missy Higgins and John Butler Trio, Australia’s rising indie sensation Stella Donnelly returns to the Sydney Opera House to play her critically acclaimed folk rock in the intimate surrounds of the Utzon Room.
Donnelly’s highly anticipated debut album, Beware of the Dogs, with its catchy but biting lead single “Old Man”, is set to launch the Fremantle-based singer-songwriter into global stardom, following her breakout 2017 EP Thrush Metal, and the buzzy hits “Boys Will Be Boys” and “Mechanical Bull” – seething, devastating acoustic takedowns of the patriarchy that captured the feminist spirit of the moment.
The triple j 2017 Unearthed Artist of the Year has wowed audiences in North America, Europe and the UK, and makes her triumphant Opera House return for Vivid LIVE.
Don’t miss this chance to see a star in the making.
General Public tickets on sale Friday 22 March 2019.
