Fresh off the back of a sold out national run with label buddies Dune Rats and raucous rockers Gooch Palms, SKEGSS are stoked to announce they are taking their brand new EP Holiday Food on the road around Australia this June, straight after an international trip which will see them play across Europe and the UK this May. The news comes paired with the video release for their latest single 'Got On My Skateboard', taken from the Holiday Food EP which is out this Friday via Ratbag Records.

Tickets to all shows are on sale now via skegss.com

The Holiday Food EP is out this Friday digitally and as a double-EP vinyl with Everyone Is Good At Something, via Ratbag Records.

SKEGSS have made a name for themselves with energetic, ripping live performances, garnering praise from The Music for their "infectious" on-stage chemistry and Moshcam who asserted they "seem to have some sort of hypnotic effect over their fans." Hitting the road in June to celebrate the release of Holiday Food, the three-piece on everyone's lips will be bringing their A game — together with special guests Good Boy and Pist Idiots — for seven shows in Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane, Hobart, Launceston and Perth.

Together with the huge tour announcement comes the release of their music video for new single 'Got On My Skateboard'. The lo-fi clip for 'Got On My Skateboard' follows YouTube's favourite Aaron "Gocsy" Gocs as he skates through Melbourne streets reliving his youth — trying to land flip tricks, sliding down a slippery dip and drinking chocolate milk. Interjected with home videos of band mates BennyToby and Jonny as kids, the vision instils a strong sense of nostalgia and thoughtful reflection on youth, living without regrets and the unmistakeably '90s fashion and bowl cuts.

SKEGSS Ben Reed (vocals, guitar), Toby Cregan (bass) and Jonny Lani (drums) — have charmed listeners with their warm surf-punk sound, selling out shows all across the country. 'Got On My Skateboard' follows the first single from the Holiday Food EP, 'Spring Has Sprung'  which spent the summer in high rotation on triple j, and ranked in their Top 10 of 2017's Most Played Songs for over 8 weeks. The band have just wrapped a sold out 11-date national tour with Dune Rats, following their 14-date tour of regional coastal towns in Australia and New Zealand which sold out 10 shows ahead of time. SKEGGS have their eyes firmly set on international domination, and will be touring Europe and the UK for the very first time this May with label mates MOLLY (Denmark), including the London Calling Festival in Amsterdam.
