This party night will not only celebrate their new album launch, but will also mark the 50th anniversary of the 1967 Referendum giving Aboriginal Australians the right to be citizens. This will be a celebration of reggae music and protest song. ARIA winning Pat Powell (Melbourne Ska Orchestra) lends his soulful voice to songs of indigenous rights and social justice. Using the quintessential reggae sound to carry its message forward, their rich musical tapestry weaves classy horn arrangements with a heavy roots reggae rhythm.
