Specialising in cutting edge underground club music, NECTAR has grown to be one of the city’s most loved party crews.
This August, NECTAR takes over Eveleigh Works, a huge industrial space in the heart of Redfern. Find yourself immersed in the pure joy that comes from a full night of dancing, with an immersive installation by light artist Sam Whiteside and a stacked line up of some of Australia’s most exciting voices in experimental club music. Expect a night of twisted techno, spacey electro, wonky baselines and everything in between.
Andy Garvey kicks things off. The triple j Mix Up host and Pure Space label boss has steadily grown to be one of Australia’s best techno and electro DJs.
Genre crossing, club music innovator Atro goes head-to-head with C.Frim, one of Narrm’s (Melbourne's) hottest new talents. Flavoursome drum tracks collide with low-slung rap when these two show us what’s good.
It’s all killer, no filler when dj pgz steps up to the decks. The Gunai/Kurnai/Yorta Yorta artist’s sound is perfect for any and every late night escapade.
Kamilaroi artist Crescendoll is a regular on queer dancefloors across the city. But now that she has just graduated from FBi Radio’s Dance Class, she has solidified her place as one of Australia’s most exciting up and coming DJs. Her sound is fast paced, raw and best delivered loud!
For a taste of the exciting sounds coming from Australia’s club scene, it’s hard to look past Tongan priestess Kilimi. Her sets unite underground dance anthems with hyped Baile cuts, pop sing-a-longs and deep Latin rhythms.
