Continuing their landmark 15th anniversary, tastemaking label Astral People take over the Sydney Opera House Utzon Room for a transcendent night of music and poetry with the Moonflower Suite, featuring the talents of Maina Doe, NMMWL, KHYA and Hey, Love.

Moonflower Suite is a symphony of live performance anchored by Sydney instrumental collective Hey, Love, whose improvisation shape the evening’s spiritual experience through live jazz, soul and hip-hop–informed instrumentation, creating a responsive foundation for voice, language and emotion.

Across the suite, Indonesian-born R&B star Maina Doe, South-Sudanese soul poet NMMWL and Chilean Australian transdisciplinary artist KHYA enter as vocal and spoken-word counterparts, weaving melody, poetry and narrative through the live compositions. Each artist brings a distinct sensibility, from song to spoken word, unfolding organically within the shared sonic environment.

The result is an immersive, genre-blurring performance where live musicianship leads and voices bloom within it, intimate, fluid and deeply present.
