Rising American avant pop star Maggie Rogers brings her singular fusion of melodic folk and percussive beats to the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall, showcasing her acclaimed work and incredible new record, Heard It In A Past Life, with a full band for her very first Vivid LIVE performance.
After growing up playing acoustic folk in rural Maryland, Rogers discovered dance beats and famously wowed superstar producer Pharrell Williams with her song “Alaska”, which became a viral smash ahead of her breakthrough EP, Now That the Light Is Fading. Lorde described her music as a “feather-light sucker punch to the heart.”
Flush from the success of her recent major label debut, with its sparkling electro-folk grooves “Give a Little”, “Light On”, and “Fallingwater”, Rogers returns to Australia for the first time since wowing audiences at Splendour in the Grass in 2017.
General Public tickets on sale Friday 22 March 2019.
