JOY

JOY. burst onto the scene with her debut single ‘Captured’ – previously having only uploaded a cover she recorded on her phone, the track amassed an impressive amount of attention from top blogs and radio stations the world over. Classically trained in piano from 3 years old, multi-instrumentalist/producer/singer-songwriter is Joy’s official title, although collaborator is also growing on the cards. The songstress has performed live original, ‘Take Me Over’ on Triple J’s Like A Version with Peking Duk as well as a feature spot on Young Franco’s ‘Close To You’. 2015 has seen Joy take to the stage at Field Day and Laneway Festival, claiming the coveted Triple J Unearthed spot as well as national support slots with Tkay Maidza/UV Boi/Sylvan Esso and Flamingo. Currently Joy is working her way towards her debut EP and is amassing a list of high profile collaborations as well as writing and producing for numerous up and coming and established acts.

DJ JACK S**T

Mr S**t is a disc-jockey for the ages - a broad-caster and eclectic specialist renowned for his detailed, site-specific sets of stirring sound.

His collection spans all era's and genres of recorded music - CD's, vinyl and even shellac gets a spin (he possesses the world’s only 3-armed, hand-made, dual turntable on which to play his hundreds of classic 78s). For two consecutive years he has played up to the midnight hour on New Years Eve at The Falls Festival in Marion Bay, Tasmania - and has recently become the first FBi Radio DJ to be accorded the great honour of spinning interstitial sounds at the iconic Golden Plains Festival in Victoria. In both States it only took a single song to have the lead singers of headliners (Wayne Coyne from the Flaming Lips and Neneh Cherry, respectively) approach him to enquire as to precisely what the crazy psych and hip hop tunes he kicked off with were. Meanwhile back in his home town he remains astonishingly busy with variegated club dates and residencies - all while being widely respected as Sydney's finest wedding DJ.
