Hot Potato Band’s larger-than-life brass collective is a breath of fresh air. These festival favourites set a new bar for energetic and interactive musical performances on the Tumbalong Nights stage.
Finding home in Sydney, their positive coastal energy pushes euphoric boundaries in their bold quest to reignite acoustic instrumentation. The band’s ten-year street performing history spells madcap fun and antics. Their unique sound is built on the backs of three drummers, a sousaphone and five horns that cover catchy chorus lines, providing a beautiful harmonic cloud for the vocals to float above.
Watch them re-invent traditional New Orleans brass band as a modern-day dance machine and visual spectacle. Any which way you cut it, you’re in for a funk’n great time!
