Hatchie + Egoism | Tumbalong Nights

Be washed away in a shoegaze haze of big feelings and bigger hooks from two bands behind Australia's most pristine guitar-pop, Hatchie and EGOISM.

Hatchie will perform her beautiful blend of cinematic and celestial dream-pop, as showcased on the widely celebrated 2022 album Giving The World Away. The moniker of Brisbane musician Harriette Pilbeam, Hatchie's music is a swirl of shoegaze with arena ready choruses and melodies. Diaristic, honest and vulnerable, it's all-in pop, wrapped up in reverb and hazy guitars.

EGOISM is Sydney's Inner West’s worst kept secret. Childhood friends Scout Eastment and Olive Rush combine their dual lead vocals with rich and dreamy guitar-pop and energetic but emotional, hook laden harmonies to create what they describe as "headphones on the train music".
