Event Details

Mesmerising electronic dance duo Electric Fields are bringing their high-octane dancefloor sound, grounded in ancient melodies and sung in Pitjantjatjara, Yankunytjatjara and English, to Carriageworks on Saturday June 1st, 2024 as part of the Vivid Music program.

Vocalist Zachariah Fielding and music producer and composer Michael Ross burst onto the scene as Electric Fields in 2015, quickly captivating audiences worldwide with their blend of traditional Aboriginal culture and electronic music. Fielding's rare and bewitching vocals, paired with Ross's musical brilliance creates a striking performance that bring moments of breathtaking beauty and power to the stage.

Electric Fields will take to the stage at Carriageworks hot off the back of representing Australia at Eurovision 2024, where they'll be performing their ethereal dance pop track 'One Milkali (One Blood)' in front of millions of viewers around the world.

Named ‘Movers for the Next Gen' by Vogue Magazine, the critically acclaimed duo have delivered sell-out tours across Australia and taken their striking sound around the world. With notable performances including World Pride Festival, Sydney Harbour’s NYE Concert, Treaty Day Out, and First & Forever at Hanging Rock, alongside the likes of Kylie Minogue, Jessica Mauboy and Budjerah.

In 2019, Electric Fields were the close runners-up at Eurovision – Australia Decides with their song '2000 and Whatever', their hit ‘We The People’ was the official anthem of Sydney’s World Pride in 2023.

Electric Fields have collaborated with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, delivering a performance that was hailed as 'the highlight of the year,’ and they were awarded at Fringe Festival 2023 for their 'Electric Skies' composition, solidifying their status as a powerhouse duo in the music industry.
