Featuring

Cate Le Bon

Cate Le Bon makes her debut appearance at the Sydney Opera House with her band on the back of her beguiling latest album, Michelangelo Dying (2025), whose ornate art pop confirms the Welsh singer-songwriter as an artist in a class of her own. Since emerging as a freak-folk wonder in the late aughts, Le Bon has gone on to become one of avant-pop’s most enigmatic and compelling figures, releasing the acclaimed, Mercury Prize-nominated Reward (2019) and 2022’s universally acclaimed Pompeii and producing records for artists including St. Vincent, Wilco, Devendra Banhart and Dry Cleaning.

Cass McCombs

Bay Area-born, New York-based singer-songwriter Cass McCombs is among the most beloved indie rock artists of the past two decades. With a sound that combines psychedelic folk, country soul and lyrical humour, McCombs has built a dedicated following since breaking through at the turn of the millennium, with a string of critically acclaimed records including Big Wheel and Others (2013), Mangy Love (2016) and Tip of the Sphere (2021). McCombs’ latest, Interior Live Oak (2025), is his most personal yet, combining his gift for what Pitchfork dubbed “classic rock and soul… mythic layers and barbed humor.”

Two of indie rock’s most distinctive artists meet for a one-of-a-kind live performance as Welsh art-pop star Cate Le Bon and beloved American singer-songwriter Cass McCombs share a double bill for Vivid LIVE.

Returning to Sydney for the first time since her mesmerising performance at Carriageworks in 2022, multi-talented musician and producer Cate Le Bon makes her debut appearance at the Sydney Opera House with her band on the back of her beguiling latest album, Michelangelo Dying (2025), whose ornate art pop confirms the Welsh singer-songwriter as an artist in a class of her own.
