Like a meadow in bloom, this mass installation of light flowers is comprised of beautifully intricate blossoms designed with the input of hundreds of Sydney primary school students. Each child’s bubbly cheerful character and positive outlook on our future is effervescent and imprinted on their creation. As you walk through this field, you'll make small discoveries as you take a closer look at individual flowers, seeing the unique form and personality of each one. Viewed together, the installation represents the opportunity for our young people to come back together after the tumultuous last few years.

Tomorrows’ Blossoming is designed to inspire the next generation of budding young artists of all cultures and nationalities, who in time, will contribute their own creativity back into this beautiful city and the world.

"Whilst it’s been hard for everyone, young people stayed positive and remained a beacon of hope during these difficult times. Our Australian children continue to demonstrate strength, resilience, playfulness and spirit – qualities we can all learn a lot from." – light artist Gemma Ferguson
