Bubbles! Bubbles! Everywhere! Step onto a floating boardwalk that weaves between 150 larger-than-life illuminated spheres and experience the pure joy of effervescence. It's as if Walsh Bay has been transformed into a giant bubble bath. This playful work appeals to our sense of childlike wonder through the ethereal quality of bubbles.

Lit from within, the iridescent orbs change colour throughout the night. Choreographed to a unique soundscape, they illuminate the surface of the water creating an unmissable dance of light. By day, the spectacle continues. Each bubble is made from a transparent material with a colour-reflecting dichroic film that reacts to the changing light of the sun as it moves across the sky, causing a rainbow of reflection on the water and a unique picture from every angle.

By making the concept of ephemerality visible, the artists encourage everyone – old and young – to consider the world around them as a space of transience and fragility. Discover how ‘art-chitecture’ can connect audiences with their environment through designs that are truly inclusive.
