Inspired by childhood memories of wonder and curiosity, Beat-loon is an interactive light sculpture that beats like a heart. With all the vibrant activity around Circular Quay, the artists invite visitors to take a moment away from the crowds and be reunited with their childlike self. The sculpture aims to recreate a fleeting moment of innocence and wonder amidst the fast-paced world we live in.

This installation features a clutch of 16 balloons hovering above the ground. At first glance, it may appear as if the balloons are about to escape, much like the moments in our daily lives.

Beat-loon reminds us that even a small moment of fun and wonder brings so much positivity and is an essential aspect worth sharing in our lives.
