Dave recently finished a stint with PACT Theatre’s Rapid Response Team, and completed a video album & east coast tour with his independent band after a successful crowdfund. Over the last five years Dave has presented and developed shows for Sydney’s FBi Radio and toured 13 countries performing music & poetry in unusual spaces such as San Francisco’s de Young Museum, to Centre Camp stage at Burning Man Festival and the Sydney Theatre for the Australian Poetry Slam.

Professionally Dave’s worked at international law firm Allens Linklaters, sat on the Board of Carers NSW, and toured nationally as presenter for the Commonwealth Bank Foundation teaching high schoolers financial literacy. Dave believes in uniting discipline with passion to inspire creativity in others.

A man and his microphone asked the world to consider what is our collective human song—then he began to capture it.
 
Simon Jankelson is a social entrepreneur, music facilitator, interactive design specialist, public speaker and musician. 

 
Music was always been a cathartic act for Simon—by combining his experience writing for critically acclaimed bands and directing an award winning interactive media company, he established an innovative methodology that unifies groups through collective song making. Supported by a successful crowdfunding campaign, Simon and The Human Sound Project went on a world tour, sharing the powerful stories of over fifty groups across six continents through collaboratively created song.
 
Simon believes that humanities greatest tools to uplift and connect are song and story—that these collective experiences can overcome the disparity in diversity.  Simon is proud to have taken the project from concept to a global music movement empowering thousands, of all ages, races and cultural backgrounds to create together: www.thehumansoundproject.com 
 
Simon’s Career highlights include performances with band WIM at SXSW, CMJ Festivals and opening Sundance Film Festival, his instillation The Waking Heart garnering best cross-platform project at SXSW Interactive, received a award nomination at the AIMIA awards and featured at TEDx talks across Australia. Simon has been a speaker at the Walkley’s Storyology Conference, is regular panel guest at SPAA Fringe & Design Sydney Festival and was named on 40 UNDER 40’s list of future leaders of the Asia’s design industry.
