Event Details

The next two decades will play a critical role in shaping the world’s future. What does this future have in store, and how will it change our lives? We might not have a crystal ball, however we can introduce you to Dr Stefan Hajkowicz, an internationally renowned expert in strategic foresight at CSIRO’s Data61, Australia’s leading data innovation group.

Join Stefan for a fast-paced, research-led and entertaining treatise on the future of the world. Explore some of the biggest factors transforming how we live including artificial intelligence, blockchain, climate change, the rise of Asian economies, demographic ageing, health and wellbeing, resource scarcity, energy storage, changing human experiences and more. Phew!

Dr Hajkowicz leads the Insight Team at Data61, a group of researchers who compile and analyse trends, risks and scenarios about the future to help governments, companies and communities make wiser choices.
