Curious about the maker movement? Join us at the Michael Crouch Innovation Centre for an afternoon of learning by doing.

In this hands-on workshop you will explore 3D printing - a ground breaking technology that is supporting and disrupting many industries around the world! You’ll learn the basics of file structure through to putting on your own print using FDM technology. Our printers use ABS and PLA filaments.

We will also look at 3D scanners and their applications. Have some fun with body scans – digital life drawing!

At the end, you will be able to tinker and experiment with the printers and scanners!

No prior experience necessary, this is a workshop designed for absolute beginners and great for families too.
