MakerSpace &co Present: A Week In The Workshop

Do you have some ideas you've been itching to get stuck into, if only you had a little time and access to the machinery and space to make it happen? We've got you sorted. We are giving 12 people a whole week in our metal, ceramic or wood workshop where they can make what ever they want.

MakerSpace &company developed this place in reaction to the huge challenge of turning an idea into a prototype - and taking a prototype into production. Now Sydneysiders have access to excellent facilities and expertise to help bring ideas to life. To make it even easier, we are offering 12 people a whole week for only $25.

This is best suited to applicants who have some experience making things. While we don't expect you to know exactly how to use all our machines, we are looking for people who are generally handy, and are confident, fast learners. We welcome designers, makers, architects, engineers, inventors, tradies etc.

We have an amazing metal and ceramic workshop, and we are building our wood workshop facilities too. Our technical staff bring expertise, a passion for making, and they are here to help. While anyone can sign up to become a member, this is a special opportunity to get in for a whole week and make incredible things happen.

This activity is by application only, and we will be selecting 12 participants to join us.

Six will go through the workshop induction class on Friday 17th and six on Saturday 18th June. After you've completed the induction, you can come and use our facilities as much as you like during the following week.
