What if you could fast-track to the end of human history? What if we have already written our final chapter?
Alone in a display case, the last human being—our Endling—plays out their fate. Combining projections, sound, narration, confined aerial, and physical theatre, this solo performance is equal parts moving, thought-provoking, and, at times, deeply unsettling.
Endling explores human history, triumph, vanity, and our capacity for self-destructive behaviours. It will provoke reflection on your own relationship with the world and our collective legacy, asking: can we truly change our fate, or are we the architects of our own extinction?
Experience Vivid Ideas on the Vivid Sydney Light Walk—this performance takes place on Walumil Lawns, Barangaroo Reserve.
