Event Details

Reconnect, take pause and see nature anew with this multi-sensory mindfulness workshop in the heart of the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney – an intimate experience limited to just 45 people.

This 2-hour workshop challenges the relentless pace of our modern lives, where slowing down is often framed as a negative. No prior meditative experience is necessary to attend, as mindfulness facilitators Steve Pozel and Vanessa Lansdown offer a playful and accessible experience for all.

Drawing from various meditation frameworks and incorporating ancient practices, mindful drawing and photography exercises, Steve and Vanessa will expand your experience of the world around us. They'll also share tools with you to combat the 'sensory blindness' from creeping back into your everyday life.

If this duo’s 2022 sessions at Vivid Sydney are anything to go by, this is an unforgettable, transformative experience – grab your ticket while you can. They are also hosting Coming to our Senses: Immersion in Architecture, a mindfulness workshop held in Frank Gehry's magnificent Dr Chau Chak Wing Building.

This is part of Vivid Ideas' Immersive Events series. Be transported somewhere new by the Up Late nights at Australian Museum and Powerhouse, an NFT party, mindfulness workshops and truly one-of-a-kind experiences.
