Salt & Pepper Squiz - The Vivid Sydney Exclusive Premiere

Jennifer Wong debuts her new comedy show at Mary’s Underground, in a night of funny food stories with bar snacks and cocktails inspired by her book Chopsticks or Fork?: Recipes and Stories from Australia’s Regional Chinese Restaurants. 

After sold-out shows at comedy festivals across Australia, Wong’s latest offering combines her love of stand-up, food stories, and food! Tickets to the show include a series of classic Chinese-Australian bar snacks. Expect a salt and peppery squiz at food culture at large and a chance to tackle life’s big questions, like “Have you had share plates before?”. 

Since travelling across Australia for the ABC series Chopsticks or Fork?, Wong has continued to collect Chinese restaurant stories from around the country, and will share some of these onstage for the first time.
