The Raconteur

The Raconteur is an artisanal luxury fragrance brand based in Sydney and Hobart, Australia. Founded in 2019 by Craig Andrade, The Raconteur specialises in botanical fragrances using Australian native plant extracts. Our fragrances are functional, they transcend gender, and all our products are handmade in Australia.

Gail Priest

Gail Priest is an artist living on Dharug and Gundungurra land now known as Katoomba, Australia. Her work comprises solo electro-acoustic performance and recordings, sound installations, site-responsive projects, sound design for performance and video, as well as curation, critique and advocacy.

Jen Kwok Lee

At just 29, Infinity by Mark Best's head chef Jen Kwok Lee is the 2026 Young Chef of the Year in the SMH Good Food Guide.

Born in Malaysia, Lee has previously worked at the Ritz-Carlton Melbourne, where he played a key role in establishing acclaimed restaurant Atria.

Polly Mackarel

Polly Mackarel is the award-winning Precinct Sommelier of Trippas White Group, with more than a decade of experience in hospitality and wine.

Perspective is a multi-sensory immersive dining experience unfolding over 90 minutes, guiding guests through a rotating journey of the landscapes surrounding the iconic Sydney Tower.

Set high above the city, Perspective invites guests to connect deeply with place through all senses, as a carefully curated menu celebrates each shifting perspective, together with evocative scent, sound, and visual art. 

Perspective's menu and sensory journey moves through three distinct environments beginning in the vibrant Urban backdrop, transitioning to the Maritime landscapes of the Harbour and Northern coastline of NSW, and culminating in the elevated perspective of the Great Dividing Range and beyond.

The multi-sensory experience will be brought to life by luxury Sydney perfumer Craig Andrade of The Raconteur, Blue Mountains sound artist Gail Priest, and photography by Mark Best. Led by culinary icon chef Mark Best alongside Young Chef of the Year Jen Kwok Lee and sommelier Polly Mackarel, Perspective showcases exceptional food, wine, and beverage producers from each region. 

Drawing from the tower’s ever-changing view, Perspective is a truly immersive sensory experience celebrating Sydney and its surrounds.
