Event Details

Fresh from throwing bold culinary-cultural events in Marrakesh, Sicily and Mallorca, New York-based ARLO Communal bring their celebrated multi-sensory and immersive approach to dining to the CBD’s oldest public building, The Mint

Inspired by The Mint’s Caroline Simpson Library Collection – a rich archive of Australian design and domestic life spanning two centuries – Dream Feast reinterprets historic menus and visual motifs with a cutting-edge contemporary sensibility.

Think updates to vintage Women’s Weekly recipes, French favourites and old-school desserts, in a menu both nostalgic and exciting.

But this time-travelling feast doesn’t finish at the menu, as The Mint’s hallowed halls are reimagined with intricate projection-mapped art, era-appropriate tableware and a live score by Australian-Bengali DJ and curator Munasib

Don’t miss this unforgettable culinary voyage – a one-night-only collaboration between the Museums of History NSW and ARLO Communal, the Australian duo behind some of the world’s most innovative culinary experiences. There’s a reason why it’s called Dream Feast.
