Vivid Sydney is seeking eight amateur dancers/performers to take part in three upcoming performances of Cristal Palace, presented on the Sydney Opera House Forecourt.

Cristal Palace will run over three nights during the June long weekend, from Friday 5 June to Sunday 7 June. Dancers/performers will be required for all performances. This is a paid opportunity.

This marks the first time Vivid Sydney has presented an outdoor performance of this scale, offering a truly special opportunity to experience the excitement of performing on the Sydney Opera House Forecourt.

Rehearsals:
Selected performers will be required to attend rehearsals on:

•    Tuesday 2 June, 6pm-9pm
•    Wednesday 3 June, 6pm-9pm

A final dress rehearsal will be held on Thursday 4 June, 6pm-9pm, on the Sydney Opera House Forecourt.

All performers will be required to supply their own:
•    Black performance shoes
•    Performance makeup

Auditions will take place on Saturday 2 May at Bangarra Dance Theatre Studios, please arrive for registration at 1pm for a 1:30pm start.

Additional Roles – Barons
In addition to the on-stage performers, we are also seeking eight Barons. These roles are less dance-intensive and focus more on crowd engagement and prop movement.

If you feel your dance experience may not be at the required level but are still interested in participating in this unique performance opportunity, you are encouraged to apply and select the 'Baron' checkbox in the registration form. Please note that this does require moving around a heavy prop, so Barons must be physically able.
