Event Details

For over 12 years, Sydney’s party specialists have lived on the bleeding edge of underground dance music in our city. Hosting acts like Peggy Gou, Young Marco, Underground Resistance, Moritz Von Oswald and KiNK, Picnic has taken the cutting-edge sound of the clubs to the people, and this year they’re laying out one of their tastiest spreads – the now-iconic Picnic Party – in the Sydney Opera House Studio for Vivid LIVE.

Hosted by performance artist and provocateur Millie Sykes, the night includes a DJ set by Melbourne-based party starters Wax’o Paradiso, as Simon TK and Edd Fisher take the audience on a wild ride into the depths of disco, house and techno. There will also be back to back sets from one time FBi Radio resident electronic music guru Adi Toohey, Picnic’s curatorial genius Kali and those explorers of the balearic, downtempo and odd, Evie + Hyfe.
