Event Details
Vivid LIVE’s extraordinary and challenging program of sound, performance and visual art will move off the stage and into the foyers with the Vivid LIVE Artist Talks program.
Jimmy Sing is the co-founder of Goodgod Small Club, which closed its doors in late 2015. He is a founding member of DJ team Ro Sham Bo, previously the owner of Jimmy Sing's Record Stand, and has played a key role in Sydney's clubbing scene for many years. Goodgod has its 2016 revival as part of Vivid LIVE.
Mad Racket’s Simon Caldwell has been playing since the early 1990s managing to avoid the stifling 'style' classification so many other DJ's trap themselves into, keeping himself free to draw on his varied loves of deep, soulful house, techno, funk, jazz, electro, booty, hip hop and anything else which catches his ear.
The Artist Talks series takes place during Vivid LIVE as part of this year’s Vivid Sydney, the world’s largest festival of light, music and ideas.
