How do the codes and networks of Sydney define our city? What does it mean to be from St Leonards or Auburn or Avalon or Cronulla? With over 5 million people in Sydney, how do we create and encourage connection?

Designed as a counterpoint to studies that show ‘your postcode determines your future’, Urban Codes is a multi-modal exhibition and the culmination of a 17-week creative educational project. It’s a platform for senior school students to examine 'their place', pushing the boundaries of HSC to create personal and collaborative works that transcend the classroom and build an inspiring public exhibition.

Coming from over 100 postcodes across Sydney, Bradfield students connect with other students across the city to examine their own codes and create social networks of creativity.
