Join Object: Australian Design Centre as they launch a new landmark space for design culture in Sydney.

Part housewarming party and part designers-gone-wild, we're inviting you to a live battle of rapid conversations. Witness some of Australia’s best design minds challenge each other's creativity, resourcefulness, and ingenuity.

Eco-designer Michael Alvisse, architect Tim Horton, creative thinker Simone LeAmon, and digital producer Lisa Gray will duke it out in a series of rounds set to challenge their creativity, resourcefulness, and ingenuity under pressure in a battle of cross-firing ideas and creative curveballs. Only one designer will be crowned- by MC, comedian Michael Hing- the winner on the night! Hecklers welcome.

Tickets include a lucky door prize entry and a drink upon arrival thanks to Mud House Wines.

This event is presented by Australian Design Centre; Object:   Australian Design Centre is the leading arts organisation dedicated exclusively to design in Australia.

In 2015, the Australian Design Centre celebrates its 50th anniversary. For fifty years, Object has played a vital role in championing Australian design and this major anniversary coincides with the opening of a new home for the organisation in Darlinghurst, Sydney. The new Centre will support the Australian design community while providing the public with the opportunity to connect with the latest innovations and design trends through exhibitions, talks, workshops and education programs.
